Latest news re The Cardney Concerts 2020...20th & 21st March
We are closely monitoring advice from the Scottish Government and the UK Government regarding coronavirus and it's impact on gatherings and events …. and we will be following their advice.
At present are planning for the concerts to go ahead and we have decided to implement the following measures:
- We have limited the sale of tickets to allow more space between the stage and front row and between seats in rows in the venue.
- Hand washing facilities are available on the site.
- We are advising concert-goers to wash their hands before leaving home, on arrival at the venue and again when they arrive back home as well as before eating and after touching your face or using the bathroom.
We’ll let you know if there is any change / update. We will alert you here on the website as well as Dougie’s Facebook and Twitter as soon as we know.
So please check daily.
Soup and Pies!
We had a pie-tasting last Thursday afternoon up at Carney Steading…and can happily say that the variety available was wonderful…with scotch pie, steak pie, chicken curry pie, macaroni cheese pie and a vegan pastie. We decided that soup and pies could be available before the concert from 6.15pm and during the concert interval. Please try and book in advance by emailing Katriona at the venue : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
You will also be able to buy drinks and soft drinks at the bar, as well as tea and coffee and maybe even some home-made tray bakes!
Wrap up warm…it’s a beautiful place to have a walk around…and we are so looking forward to welcoming you all!
At what is a difficult time for everyone everywhere it may be that music is one of the things that can help us all through.
