Here’s some more lovely autumn colours from the Butterstone garden and what a month it has been already! With three broadcasts last weekend, including two 360degree adventures and lots of musical friends! We also had the very successful Big Knit which has raised over £4,000 for a very worthwhile charity, Cyrenians. We are really looking forward to another longer special concert tonight…60 minutes long with Dougie’s songs, stories, his special ‘wee films ‘ and maybe even a fiddle tune! Tickets are on sale now and are available only from www.dougiemacleanlive.com
Remember you can leave comments in the CHAT on the live concert portal or under the Live 113 Facebook post (which we will add at 8.55pm).
Ticket holders can also watch Live 113 ‘on demand’ until Friday 26th November …and if you have missed the live concert you can purchase tickets until then.
A brief history (for anyone new to Dougie’s Facebook!)…..We had the first broadcast of our wee live concerts on March 21st 2020 when lock-down (due to the Covid 19 epidemic ) began for us in Scotland. We broadcast free concerts every second night for 30 concerts, then twice a week til concert Live 40…and since then weekly. There have since been two and a half million views of the free of charge’ concerts via Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube from many different counties and we know from messages and emails that Dougie’s music and stories are still really helping so many to cope with the unusual, challenging and sometimes frightening times. We’d like to carry on developing further the great weekly connection we’ve made with our global audience. A ticketed concert once a month (the other Saturdays remain 30 mins and free of charge) helps us to continue and develop sharing the music ... so please get your tickets by 9pm UK time and join us. It's still an experiment …and somehow there are always surprises every week!!
Keep looking after yourselves and each other and keep cheery!
