We are delighted to announce that it’s time for another longer special festive concert. Christmas isn’t far away and Dougie and the Tattiefaces have been busy organising gifts and surprises! This concert will be 60 minutes long and involve stories, songs and wee films … and even some special fiddle tunes! Tickets are on sale now and are available only from www.dougiemacleanlive.com

Ticket holders can also watch Live 116 ‘on demand’ until December 28th…and if you have missed the live concert you can purchase tickets until then.

A brief history…..repeated for those tuning in for the first time…We had the first broadcast of our wee live concerts on March 21st 2020 when lock-down (due to the Covid 19 epidemic ) began for us in Scotland. We broadcast free concerts every second night for 30 concerts, then twice a week til concert Live 40…and since then weekly. There have since been almost 3 million views of the free of charge’ concerts via Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube from many different counties and we know from messages and emails that Dougie’s music and stories are still really helping so many to cope with the unusual, challenging and sometimes frightening times. It’s unlikely that touring and live concerts will be really back to normal for a while yet and we’d like to develop further the great weekly connection we’ve made with our global audience. A ticketed concert once a month (the other Saturdays will remain 30 mins and free of charge) will help us to continue and develop sharing the music ... so get your tickets by 9pm UK time and join us. It's all still an experiment ... and still a part of life's adventure!
