Friday March 27 - Don't miss!!...Dougie MacLean - LIVE 4 (Wee Concert Stream from Butterstone) tonight at 8pm (UK time)!!

Tonight is our fourth wee Live Concert Stream! Added together this week’s 4 streams equal the length of just one of Dougie’s normal solo concerts! If you haven’t found them already hunt them out and enjoy the music…and join us tonight for another Live Stream at 8pm!!

We think that Facebook Live may be struggling a bit with the volume of people using it for all their various things (we have had amazing numbers so far worldwide!)… so if you have any issues viewing the show tonight on Facebook you could try watching live on Youtube or Vimeo instead. We will post the direct links just before the show starts on Dougie’s Facebook page as well as here in the news on Dougie’s website.

Dougie MacLean - Live - The Wee Concert Streams from Butterstone!!

On Saturday 21st March, when we would have been enjoying our second of The Cardney Concerts in Perthshire which we had planned, we tested and then broadcast the first of our wee concerts that we hope will help everyone though these increasingly unusual, difficult and worrying times. We've had a remarkable number of views and some truly lovely comments.
For anyone who missed the first (almost completely unadvertised) concert here’s a link to it on Dougie’s FaceBook
And on YouTube
If you do follow a link go to 2:58 as there is a couple of minutes of screen holdbefore that! Cheers, Jenny

NEWS UPDATE ! The Cardney Concerts postponed...

Saturday 14th March 2020…
The coronavirus situation is changing so rapidly worldwide!….

Despite having really looked forward to The Cardney Concerts in Perthshire next weekend (20th & 21st March) in what is a wonderful venue within stunning scenery, we feel that in the interests of ‘social distancing’ we need to either postpone or cancel the 2 concerts. We have discussed the situation with Katriona and Lewis at Cardney Steading and they have 2 weekend dates available in the summer … Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June 2020. It is impossible to know how the coronavirus pandemic will develop and whether organising an event will be safer then. At least for those who can attend one of the concerts it would be something to look forward to in the summer!

Can all those who have already purchased tickets (for concert or shuttle) please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  to let me know that this news has reached you. Could you also let me know whether you want to hold onto your tickets for use in June (if one of the dates can suit you) or whether you want me to organise a refund at present. Please specify the name on the booking, how many tickets and whether concert only or concert with shuttle.

We are really sorry for the disappointment and for any inconvenience caused to those who are travelling distances. You all know how much we love organising joyful musical experiences…but Dougie and I feel this is the right thing to do at this time.
Warm regards to all,

The Cardney Concerts 2020 - Catering and Shuttle Bus News!!

Perthshire Amber 2019 ... memorable and magical!

Some thoughts from Jenny…

I think it was agreed by ourselves and the team that it was one of the best Perthshire Amber Festivals ever! The autumn colours held on gloriously and despite the occasional rain and misty fog, the mood throughout the weekend was somehow joyous and the atmosphere at Murthly Castle, in Perth Concert Hall, by the banks of the Tay at Dunkeld House and in the streets of Dunkeld and Birnam was somehow very special.
